Dr. Roy “Buzz” Korth, D.C.

Dr. Roy "Buzz" Korth

Dr. Roy “Buzz” Korth has dedicated his life to empowering people to live healthier lives. He has been practicing since 1998 after graduating with honors from The University of Florida and then Life University.

He is the founder of Buckeye Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Buckeye Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is a unique concept in health care that combines medical providers with chiropractors, physical therapists, and massage therapists all under one roof. This team approach allows patients the best that all of these disciplines have to offer in their quest for health. The facilities also strive to use only the latest technologies such as Pettibon Chiropractic, Graston Technique, Kinesio taping and the best in nonnarcotic pain relief. The combination of the anti-aging and weight loss programs has allowed Buckeye Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to grow to six locations that currently treat over 2000 people each week.

He is also the founder of Med Fusion. Med Fusion is a health care consulting company that focuses on bringing the latest technologies to healthcare providers just like the ones he employs at Buckeye Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. By training other medical doctors and chiropractors around the country in the newest healing methods, these providers can offer their patients the highest level of care.

In his pursuit to educate the public, Dr. Roy “Buzz” Korth is one of the founding physicians of Volunteer Doctors of America. Volunteer Doctors of America is a non-profit organization that has educated thousands of people on health and wellness and has provided free health screenings for those in need. Dr. Korth is a former head of the Ohio State Chiropractic Association Committee on sports injuries and wellness and district director for the state chiropractic association. He is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association and The American Academy for Anti-Aging. He also serves on the advisory committee for the Ohio Institute of Health Careers and the Ohio Chiropractic Foundation.

He lives locally with his wife, Lara, and his two sons, Blake and Brock. He enjoys volunteering his time, living a healthy life-style, and most of all spending time with his family.

Dr. Daniel Lara, D.C.

Dr. Daniel Lara, B.S., D.C.
Dr. Daniel Lara is a 2008 graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic located in Dallas, TX. He completed his undergraduate work at Miami University and then Ohio State University. While attending Miami and OSU he made the Dean’s List each year and was nominated for Who’s Who. Along with his doctorate degree, he also earned a bachelor of science in health and wellness.

Dr. Lara grew up in Ashtabula, OH and went to Ashtabula Lakeside High School where he graduated with honors in the inaugural graduating class. While attending high school he lettered in football, baseball, and track and also participated in basketball. In 2002 he was featured as one of the 50 most interesting people in Ashtabula.

Before moving to Columbus, Dr. Lara practiced in Cleveland, OH for two years. He has since relocated to Columbus to join the team here at Buckeye Physical Medicine and Rehab. He is now the clinic director at the Grove City location. Dr. Lara has treated thousands of patients and has implemented his knowledge in nutrition and rehab to provide the utmost care to those in need.

In his free time, he enjoys working out, rooting for The Ohio State University, and spending time with his family and two nieces located here in Columbus.

Dr. Sophia Beynen

Dr. Sophia Beynen

Dr. Sophia Beynen joined Buckeye PMR full time in December 2015. She specialized and certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

Her main areas of treatment are Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), Weight Loss and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Benyon has 15 ½ year experience in primary care in Columbus. She graduated from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and did her Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Carmel West.

Dr. Rich Elchert, D.C.

Dr. Rich Elchert
Dr. Rich Elchert is from Tiffin, Ohio. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Tiffin University. Upon graduation, he worked in the Human Resource field. He then pursued a degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where he received his Doctorate Degree. During his studies, he discovered the benefits of true health and drug-free living.

Dr. Mike Adamets, D.C.

He is a graduate of The University of Maine and Life University, College of Chiropractic. While at The University of Maine, Dr. Adamets was a three-year letterman on the football team and honored with the Scholar Athlete Award. Mike was also honored as a game captain of the football team during his junior year. Prior to attending chiropractic college, he worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Maine. While playing college football, Dr. Adamets was enlightened to the extraordinary benefits of chiropractic on and off the field.

Dr. Alex Ribble

Dr. Alex Ribble is a native of Marion, OH and graduated from Marion Catholic High School. He achieved his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, GA. He practiced in Milwaukee, WI for one year before deciding to return to his hometown of Marion in July of 2015. After practicing in Marion, he moved on to Buckeye PMR in November of 2016.

Dr. Ribble has always enjoyed good health and attributes much of this to being a chiropractic patient since childhood. He chose chiropractic as a career because he wanted to be able to influence other people’s health without the side-effects of drugs, shots, and surgeries. He knows that the body heals itself, it just needs no interference. It is Dr. Ribble’s goal to pass this principle on to as many people as possible.

Dr. Ribble met his wife Cristina in 2009 while attending chiropractic school. They were married in 2012 and have 2 daughters named Kari-Kate and Reece. In his free time, he loves to travel, exercise, play golf, and spend time with his family.

Jessica Brunstetter, LMT, CNMT

Jessie is an honors graduate from The American Institute of Alternative Medicine and a licensed therapist through the State Medical Board. As a Certified Neuromuscular Therapist Jessie specializes in pain management and structural alignment using soft tissue manipulation, active releasing techniques, trigger point, and stretching throughout a session. In her spare time, Jessie enjoys playing sports, trying new recipes, and spending time with friends and family.

Charles Kay, MPT

C.J., originally from Youngstown, Ohio, graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Sciences with an emphasis on Exercise Physiology. Upon graduation, C.J. entered the physical therapy program earning a Master’s of Physical Therapy in 2004. After relocating to Columbus, he practiced physical therapy with an emphasis on orthopedics and sports rehabilitation as well as specializing in industrial rehab. In mid-2005, C.J. was certified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE), as well as several types of post-offer testing for several different companies.

Danielle Stephanik, PTA

Danielle is a 2010 graduate of Washington State Community College in her hometown of Marietta, Ohio. Prior to graduating, Danielle completed clinicals in both inpatient and outpatient settings working with neuro patients to athletes. After completing her Associate’s degree in Applied Science, Physical Therapy Assistant, Danielle moved to the Columbus area to join the Buckeye PMR team in the summer of 2010.

Danielle attended Marietta High School where she was very active in sports including soccer, track, rowing, and basketball. When she did experience injuries, she turned to physical therapy. From there, her interest in the profession was sparked. After graduating from high school, she started her college career at The Ohio State University majoring in Medical Dietetics. Danielle was a recruited athlete for The Ohio State University Women’s Varsity Rowing team. Due to an injury to her back, she was unable to complete the season with the team. However, during this time she visited a chiropractor in her hometown that helped her with her back injury. After the personal benefit of chiropractic treatment and physical therapy, her interest in becoming a part of the health field grew and flourished.

Danielle works in close collaboration with the physical therapist, chiropractors, and nurse practitioners to help provide the best care for the patients at Buckeye PMR. Under the personalized plan developed by the PT or DC, she carries out treatments to allow patients to obtain relief from their injuries or ailments. She also educates them on how to prevent further injuries outside of the clinical therapies. Danielle is certified in Kinesio taping and Graston technique along with other therapeutic services that allow Buckeye PMR patients to get back to their lives symptom-free.

Britney Neff, NP-C

Britney Neff, NP-C

Britney is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Britney graduated from Ohio University with her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree in December 2015. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University. Britney has been a registered nurse for five years and has previous experience as a staff nurse on an orthopedic specialty unit and on a post care anesthesia unit. Britney is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses.

Britney was born and raised in Chillicothe, Ohio and was a graduate of Unioto High School. In her spare time, Britney enjoys time with her family and friends camping, boating, kayaking and attending sporting events. Britney is an avid Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeye fan.

Britney is passionate about working with the medical providers, chiropractors, physical therapy team, massage therapist and office staff at Buckeye Physical Medicine and Rehab to promote health and wellness and improve the quality of life of our patients!
