Dr. Roy “Buzz” Korth, D.C.

Dr. Roy "Buzz" Korth

Dr. Roy “Buzz” Korth has dedicated his life to empowering people to live healthier lives. He has been practicing since 1998 after graduating with honors from The University of Florida and then Life University.

He is the founder of Buckeye Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Buckeye Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is a unique concept in health care that combines medical providers with chiropractors, physical therapists, and massage therapists all under one roof. This team approach allows patients the best that all of these disciplines have to offer in their quest for health. The facilities also strive to use only the latest technologies such as Pettibon Chiropractic, Graston Technique, Kinesio taping and the best in nonnarcotic pain relief. The combination of the anti-aging and weight loss programs has allowed Buckeye Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to grow to six locations that currently treat over 2000 people each week.

He is also the founder of Med Fusion. Med Fusion is a healthcare consulting company that focuses on bringing the latest technologies to healthcare providers just like the ones he employs at Buckeye Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. By training other medical doctors and chiropractors around the country in the newest healing methods, these providers can offer their patients the highest level of care.

In his pursuit to educate the public, Dr. Roy “Buzz” Korth is one of the founding physicians of Volunteer Doctors of America. Volunteer Doctors of America is a non-profit organization that has educated thousands of people on health and wellness and has provided free health screenings for those in need. Dr. Korth is a former head of the Ohio State Chiropractic Association Committee on sports injuries and wellness and district director for the state chiropractic association. He is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association and The American Academy for Anti-Aging. He also serves on the advisory committee for the Ohio Institute of Health Careers and the Ohio Chiropractic Foundation.

He lives locally with his wife, Lara, and his two sons, Blake and Brock. He enjoys volunteering his time, living a healthy lifestyle, and most of all spending time with his family.

Dr. Daniel Lara, D.C.

Dr. Daniel Lara is a 2008 graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic located in Dallas, TX. He completed his undergraduate work at Miami University and then Ohio State University. While attending Miami and OSU he made the Dean’s List each year and was nominated for Who’s Who. Along with his doctorate degree, he also earned a bachelor of science in health and wellness.

Dr. Lara grew up in Ashtabula, OH and went to Ashtabula Lakeside High School where he graduated with honors in the inaugural graduating class. While attending high school he lettered in football, baseball, and track and also participated in basketball. In 2002 he was featured as one of the 50 most interesting people in Ashtabula.

Before moving to Columbus, Dr. Lara practiced in Cleveland, OH for two years. He has since relocated to Columbus to join the team here at Buckeye Physical Medicine and Rehab. He is now the clinic director at the Grove City location. Dr. Lara has treated thousands of patients and has implemented his knowledge in nutrition and rehab to provide the utmost care to those in need.

In his free time, he enjoys working out, rooting for The Ohio State University, and spending time with his family and two nieces located here in Columbus.

Dr. Sophia Beynen, M.D.

Dr. Sophia Beynen is a proud member of the Buckeye PMR since December 2015. She is specialized and certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and a Fellow in Stem Cell Therapies.

Her main areas of treatment are Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), Weight Loss and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Benyon has 15 ½ year experience in primary care in Columbus. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and did her Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Carmel West.

Dr. Mike Adamets, D.C.

He is a graduate of The University of Maine and Life University, College of Chiropractic. While at The University of Maine, Dr. Adamets was a three-year letterman on the football team and honored with the Scholar-Athlete Award. Mike was also honored as a game captain of the football team during his junior year. Prior to attending chiropractic college, he worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Maine. While playing college football, Dr. Adamets was enlightened to the extraordinary benefits of chiropractic on and off the field.

Alyssa Webbs, DPT

Alyssa is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. While attending Twinsburg High School she was captain of the gymnastics team for 2 years and made it to the district level of competition twice. After graduation, Alyssa attended Kent State University where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology. While attending Kent State University, she continued pursuing her passion for gymnastics by participating on the recreational gymnastics team and then coaching gymnastics for 6 years.

Alyssa furthered her education at Ohio University where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. During her time at Ohio University, Alyssa became certified in Dry Needling, the McKenzie Method for back pain, and Lee Silverman Voice Treatment BIG (LSVT BIG) for Parkinson’s Disease.

Jessica Brunstetter, LMT, CNMT

Jessica Brunstetter, LMT, CNMT
Jessie is an honors graduate of The American Institute of Alternative Medicine and a licensed therapist through the State Medical Board. As a Certified Neuromuscular Therapist Jessie specializes in pain management and structural alignment using soft tissue manipulation, active releasing techniques, trigger point, and stretching throughout a session.

In her spare time, Jessie enjoys playing sports, trying new recipes, and spending time with friends and family.

Catarina Orr, PTA

Catarina Orr, PTA
Catarina Orr grew up in East Liberty, OH graduating from Benjamin Logan HS where she participated in volleyball, track and field, softball, 4-H, and snowboarding. She attended Heidelberg University as a student-athlete in Track and Field to earn her B.S. in Health Science earning honors such as Top Female Student-Athlete of the Year, Dean’s list, scholar-athlete, team captain, Clyde A. Lamb Award, and setting an indoor 60-meter hurdle school record in 2015.

After obtaining her B.S., Catarina attended Rhodes State Community College to earn her Associates of Allied Health in Physical Therapy Assistant. She obtained her license to practice Physical Therapy in July 2017 and started her career in home health before joining the Buckeye PMR team in 2018.

Catarina is a certified personal trainer and competes in NPC Body Building competitions, fitness modeling, triathlons, sand volleyball, and being outdoors maintaining her healthy and adventurous lifestyle. She currently resides in Hilliard, OH and is eager to implement her knowledge to patients here in Grove City as well as continue to learn more to provide the best treatment possible.
